Solicitor - Complex Data Review Projects

As an Associate in the Project Services Group, you will:

  • Work on complex and high-profile data review projects for clients in various sectors and jurisdictions, such as litigation, arbitration, regulatory inquiries, internal investigations, compliance audits and due diligence.
  • Manage the data identification, collection, review and production phase of projects.
  • Manage and supervise teams of paralegals and document reviewers, ensuring quality, efficiency and compliance with project protocols and client requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, experts and other stakeholders, providing clear and timely communication and reporting on project progress, issues and risks.
  • Use the latest technology and tools for data review, such as e-discovery platforms, artificial intelligence tools, analytics and data visualisation.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the Project Services Group's processes, methodologies and best practices including developing project plans, budgets, timelines, arranging appropriate training for review staff and allocating resources effectively.
  • Review financial and billing information and manage costs updates and billing processes.
  • Have a good knowledge of the law of privilege and an understanding of how to apply this to datasets.
  • Research and keep up to date with recent case law and regulation.
  • Support the business development and marketing of the Project Services Group, including preparing proposals, pitches and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An Irish qualified solicitor with post-qualification experience in a law firm, preferably with exposure to data review projects.
  • Excellent legal, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • An understanding of data processing activities and legal document review requirements.
  • Strong project management, organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines across multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations.
  • A proactive, flexible and innovative approach, with a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and challenges.
  • A client-focused and commercial mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality and value-added services.
