Your Mission

We are looking for a Corporate legal counsel to support the company's growth and contribute to the development of the legal department. You will work closely with the board of directors, investors, management, and external counsel to support all aspects of corporate governance, compliance, and housekeeping.

Under the supervision of our Associate General Counsel, you will be involved in all of the day-to-day and major operations of the group's companies.

Your responsibilities

  • You will independently, with the help of external counsels when needed, manage the day-to-day and exceptional corporate matters of the group's companies in France and abroad (drafting legal documents, holding general meetings and management bodies, approving financial statements, changing directors, monitoring the legal deadlines of the group's companies, etc.);
  • You will provide your best support during external growth and financing operations;
  • You will manage employee equity incentive mechanisms (Free shares, Stock Options, etc.) using our legal tech tools;
  • You will be responsible for the maintenance of the cap table and other equity-related internal tools;
  • You will assist with the implementation of internal policies and procedures;
  • You will be working hand to hand with our legal ops team to create and automate processes and tools and train your key contacts.

Your qualifications

  • At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with significant relevant corporate law experience at a top tier law firm or in-house;
  • Full working proficiency in English and French;
  • You are discreet, organized, hard worker and enjoy working in a team;
  • You have meticulous attention to detail and high standards of accuracy;
  • Good understanding of the capital market and certain financial and tax acumen;
  • You like managing project and are proactive;
  • You have a results-driven and impact-oriented mindset;
  • Fluency in English and French.

Nice to have:

  • previous experience in managing ESOP;
  • previous experience in the tech ecosystem;
  • bar exam.
