Your profile

  • U.E. law degree, LL.M or equivalent would be an asset;
  • Significant experience in a Business Law firm;
  • Excellent language skills in English and French; Dutch/German would be an asset;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • An analytical mind-set and good organisational skills;
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, innovative and team-player.

Your duties

  • Coordinate, steer and actively assist the lawyers with the development and maintenance of models and legal templates;
  • Develop model documents and take care of input of these model documents within our system;
  • Extract know-how from internally developed documents and existing precedents;
  • Develop content for our electronic know-how tools for legal opinion and standard documents;
  • Keep up to date with legal developments and analyse the impact on the different practice groups;
  • Contribute to the writing and proofreading of our legal documents such as: publications, newsflashes, presentations, articles, memoranda;
  • Follow-up developments in company law (Luxembourg/EU directives/International level), commercial law, civil law, case law and insolvency law;
  • Analyse the impact of these legal developments on the relevant practice groups;
  • Provide both fee-earners and clients with concise focused updates in this regard;
  • Be aware of useful information on legal trends, upcoming legislative initiatives;
  • Organise continuous training and communication flow for all fee earners in relation to knowledge tools and knowledge management;
  • Liaise with the Marketing department, give input for pitches, track records and directory submissions;
  • Contribute to the further development and improvement of our know-how databases and infrastructure for an optimal use;
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of know-how projects within the office, when appropriate be the contact person for firm-wide projects;
  • Be member of the international PSL team, attend international PSL meetings;
  • Write articles for publication in academic/professional journals and to give lectures and presentations on these both internally and externally;
  • Provide coaching and assistance to trainees and junior associates.
