Join us as a Data Protection and Client Confidentiality Lawyer to become part of an international community in a premium Swiss Bank where you will receive insights into how a global Bank is internally governed. You will support the team by delivering high-quality partners across the Bank in a dynamic environment. Your primary role will be to provide data protection and client confidentiality legal opinion for all the initiatives in the Bank that involve processing of client and personal data in line with applicable EMEA laws (including EU General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), regulations and Credit Suisse policies. You will assess initiatives’ compliance with the general Data Protection Principles and provide practical recommendations to the internal partners to help them achieve their objectives in compliance with the applicable laws. If required, you will draft privacy statements, data protection clauses, data processing consents, etc. and negotiate Data Processing Agreements, all in collaboration with our peers representing other regions. The role also involves ad hoc projects and strategic data protection projects (e.g. implementation of new data protection laws in the Bank) that may involve close collaboration with the Bank’s Data Protection Officer organization and GC colleagues from other departments. You will also be involved in creating and maintaining our internal know-how database and templates.
