Missions and Responsibilities
As Senior Legal Counsel you will be part of an international and fast growing environment. You will be part of the italian team based in Milan with a functional link to the European team of Biogas Solutions and your main purpose will be supporting the business, procurement and operations department - both in Italy and Europe - by providing legal support and contributing the draft, negotiations and follow up for the contract in English and Italian. Your perimeter will cover all the countries related to Biogas Solution: Italy, France, UK, Nordics, China and USA.
You will report directly to the Italian General Legal Counsel based in Milan with a functional link to the Legal Counsel of Biogas Solutions in Sassenage (France); you will have direct contact with the different departments within the organization.
As senior inhouse legal counsel you will be in charge of developing - according to Italian/international laws - new contracts between the local entities, Joint ventures and suppliers, you will support business development to elaborate legal schemes; working with procurement & project/OPS team for the negotiations. You will develop, draft and translate the templates and contracts in Italian and English.
Competencies and Profile
- You have an International/Italian business law/Energy/Corporate law degree with up to 8 years experience gained in an international company in the energy or industry sector;
- You have deep knowledge of the Italian civil code and law related to energy business;
- You are fluent in English - the knowledge of French will be considered a plus - and you are comfortable in handling relations and contacts with differentstakeholders(engineers, procurement, business, operations ect) based in other countries;
- You are proactive, autonomous and a problem solver and you are fully able to work in a flexible and fast changing environment.
