About the team

This is a new role to support the growing demands of logistics - ranging from eCommerce fulfilment to PICO hardware imports/exports.

Our ideal candidates will bring their experience related to logistics and trade, particularly 3PL, 4PL, transportation and warehousing contracts. You will have a firm grounding in import/export requirements and customs arrangements. You will apply your sector expertise to assist in the development of our logistics ecosystem through commercial contracts with vendors and partners and the development of technology solutions. Collaborating with colleagues across the globe, you will help to develop and iterate applicable terms of service, demonstrate sound judgement in assessing legal risks and advise your stakeholders across a wide array of other issues related to supply chain optimisation. You will also have the opportunity to support a range of other commercial matters relating to our business. Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate high value service contracts with vendors and partners;
• Support procurement deals associated with a logistics network, including warehouse and facilities negotiations;
• Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments in trade, import/export, logistics and supply chain management;
• Build cross-team relationships across a highly matrixed organisation, aligning with legal teams supporting eCommerce product, devices, distribution and operations; and
• Create templates, workflows and best-practice guidance to a nascent business unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates qualified in a UK or EU jurisdiction with 7+ years PQE who have:

• Exposure to working in a fast-paced in-house legal environment;
• Deep subject matter expertise and a history of advising on trade, logistics and warehousing contracts;
• Solid understanding of laws and regulations regarding packaging and waste;
• Ability to advise on technology solutions and to negotiate platform partnerships;
• Flexible, enthusiastic, curious qualities and who leans into our ByteStyles and Leadership Principles.

This is a role within a team that supports multiple products - you may flex across the team from time to time, depending on the priorities and needs of the team.
