How you are going to make an impact
- Develop and implement the legal structures aligning them with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements;
- Manage the process of obtaining necessary licenses and interact with government authorities for regulatory compliance;
- Stay updated with relevant regulations to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws;
- Review, and negotiate agreements, contracts, and related legal documents with external counterparties;
- Identify, evaluate, and manage legal risks, including regulatory, operational, and contractual risks;
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and policies;
- Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and external legal counsel to stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards;
- Develop and enforce internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and risk management;
- Manage the legal team, providing leadership and support to ensure efficient legal operations;
- Deal with legal systems across multiple countries, adapting to different legal environments.
Discover your Fit
- Legal degree and a valid licence to practise law;
- Legal experience (5+ years) with a focus on Fintech companies;
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations;
- Experience in managing legal teams and complex legal matters;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
