Here’s how you will have a role to play in this team:
As a member of the Competition Law Department, you will be involved in the all missions of the team:
Advising on all aspects relating to merger control proceedings, and coordinating the preparation of filings;
Setting up or updating of Group guidelines and tools in relation to compliance with competition laws;
Day to day advice to internal legal and business teams (Divisions, Zones, countries) on any type of competition law issues. Collaboration with other team members to ensure harmonized approach within the Group;
Coordinating the answers to questionnaires from competition authorities;
Participating in the animation of the competition law page on the Legal intranet website, which provides information and tools to business teams and to the L’Oréal Legal community worldwide;
Contributing to advocacy activities relating to public consultations and key legislative discussions;
Providing support to internal audit teams before/during/after audit missions;
Handling of competition law investigations and follow-on damages claims, in collaboration with the relevant internal legal teams and with external counsels and economic consultants.
The skills that you will need to make an impact:
Master Degree covering competition and distribution law aspects;
Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a multinational organization;
Fluent in English;
An international experience would be appreciated;
Interest for emerging legal subjects (new EU regulation applicable to digital and innovative topics, algorithms, blockchain etc…).
