Job Description

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate contracts and a large range of commercial agreement (e.g., procurement, service providers, IT, M&As).
  • Support the Group General Counsel in real estate matters including in France and US
  • Draft, review and negotiate real estate related LOI, purchase agreements, deeds,
  • Draft review and negotiate construction, design, development agreements.
  • Support on labour law matters (contracts, policies, termination, opinions etc.)
  • Support on GDPR Matters
  • Assist the business in negotiating contracts and advise on regulatory developments ensuring the Group’s comply with respective regulations.
  • Support the Group General Counsel in group related contractual and non contractual matters, legal policies, procedures, guidelines etc
  • Advising the business on the contractual negotiations with a range of suppliers and partners of different sectors.
  • Support in various type of litigations including labour if needed.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge development by keeping abreast of new regulations, legal restrictions, and best practices.
  • Closely collaborate with General Counsel of the Group on various initiatives
  • Providing general legal advice on applicable laws and regulations
  • Any other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor or direct line manager

Qualifications

  • Around 7/10 years of experience gained in fast paced and challenging business environments, preferably inhouse as generalist legal counsel (law firm not excluded a priori)
  • Concrete experience in areas such as Contracts, T&C, Procurement, legal opinions, legal search, with some knowledge of real estate, IP, IT, GDPR
  • Master degree in Law (being a qualified lawyer admitted at a Bar in Luxembourg and or abroad is not a must but may be considered as a plus)
  • International experience will be highly appreciated especially if gained in France or US.
  • Knowledge of US legal system is a plus
  • Experience in Real Estate and Labour will be considered a plus.
  • Language skills: English (fluent, spoken and in writing) and French necessary.
  • Acute attention to accuracy and detail

  • Not afraid to be hands on and do small and big things
  • Promotes and demonstrates a positive, team‐oriented attitude
