Developing and driving of negotiation strategy, negotiation of and leading impact in steering committees regarding current major long-term contracts;
Developing the contracting strategy with end-to-end responsibility including negotiations with Governments, partners and contractors for the agreements and co-decision making together with the business;
Steering the strategic handling of procurement project portfolio (EPC/EPCM, tender strategies);
Protection of OMV’s intellectual property portfolio and supporting the SVP Innovation and Technology to build up and protect OMV's IP and technology licensing business;
Leading major arbitrations and other dispute resolutions resulting from major Contracts & Projects incl. decision on dispute strategy, handling of respective projects;
Developing and pursuing the digital strategy for the OMV Legal Department and holding co-decision responsibilities for cross-functional digitalization initiatives for the entire OMV Group.

Master's degree in Law or related field;
At least 15 years of relevant professional experience, especially with international transactions and contracts;
Sound commercial understanding and stakeholder management;
Excellent know-how in the oil and gas/chemical industry as well as intellectual property matters;
High cross-cultural awareness and strong leadership skills;
Curious about new developments in Legal Tech and its opportunities for legal departments (track record of implemented “legal tech”/automation projects is a plus);
Excellent English.
