As a Legal & Compliance Senior Counsel at Alcon, you'll be a proactive, self-aware, and commercially-minded business partner. You'll ensure integrity and compliance standards are upheld while articulating legal considerations clearly to stakeholders.
Please note that is a fixed term contract (1 year).
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing legal assistance to local teams and enabling functions.
- Reviewing and advising on all legal aspects of promotional materials, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts across various domains.
- Offering general legal advice, including on antitrust issues and employment matters.
- Supporting in the management of litigation and dispute resolution.
- Establishing and maintaining compliance standards based on internal policies and local regulations.
What You'll Bring to Alcon:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Law and Bar Admission
- Experience: 4-7 years in pharma, medical device companies, or law firms assisting such companies.
- Skills: Fluent in English, strong legal acumen, and familiarity with compliance standards.
- Behaviors: Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
