RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the overall activities of the company;
  • Provides legal support and advice to all teams (Ο&Μ, EPC, Development) and support functions;
  • Creates and maintain a set of copy/template contracts (goods, services, businesses, etc.) and other legal documents ready for use by development teams as a basis for work liaising with the group legal department to ensure meeting group policies and legal & contract best practices;
  • Prepares BOD minutes or/and general assembly minutes of all type of companies (SA, LTD, LP);
  • Supports Business Line Development teams in drafting and negotiating documents to support their activities and the development of projects, such as leases, rental options, rentals, easements, contracts, etc.;
  • Controls power of attorney, notarial documents, merging documents and to be responsible for communicating with notary and public authorities. Tight coordination with the group paralegal pool of Paris;
  • Drafting and updating the article of association of companies;
  • Reviews and advises management on legally binding documents;
  • Monitors and advises on negotiations;
  • Monitors and advices on working relations;
  • Supports the preparation of public tenders and the submission of documentation;
  • Contributes to the risk assessment of the activities of the business unit, its business partners, suppliers and other business parties;
  • Maintains and promote the values, strength and reputation of the company as well as its businesses in responsible markets; be the main point of contact of the Compliance Officer in Greece and act as the local “compliance correspondent”;
  • Identifies, selects and manages external legal advisors in cooperation with country manager and hear of legal;
  • Drafting, review and negotiation of construction and o&m contracts, including joint venture agreements, turnkey EPC contracts, O&M contracts, supply agreements, service agreements and subcontracts, as well as support the BLs in the event of any claims;
  • Reviews and advices on electricity sector regulations and policies;
  • Follow up of the litigation files of the group in Greece and report to the Head of Legal in Paris.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the renewable energy sector;
  • Experience as corporate & construction lawyer;
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar functions (either in law firms or companies);
  • Fluent in English (French language should be considered a plus).
