Your field of responsibility
Join us as Head of the Trust Legal team, a challenging and interesting position managing a small team of lawyers in a dynamic and evolving international environment. You will have a senior role as a key contact person for legal matters regarding trusts and other wealth planning structures as well as life insurance and advisory agreements. You will have the opportunity to work on a very wide range of topics such as corporate governance, adherence to internal policies, data protection and information exchange, outsourcing, marketing materials, as well as contentious and litigation matters. Your responsibilities include building up and maintaining close relationship with other functions across divisions, ensuring adequate communication and support with colleagues as well as engaging, managing and coordinating matters with external counsel.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for:
- A qualified lawyer with at least 6 years of experience at a law firm or in a fast paced in-house environment;
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory regime and requirements in a common law jurisdiction or in Liechtenstein or Singapore would be an asset;
- Familiarity with either banking, contract, trust or insurance law and regulation governing the banking, trust or life insurance industry is desirable;
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills as well as management, prioritization, planning and organizational skills;
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with the ability to take full ownership of your area of responsibility;
- Ability to work under pressure and take clear decisions combined with a proactive way of working, a strong desire to learn and a high willingness to perform;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; German would be an asset;
