For our office in Vilnius, we are currently looking for a Client Onboarding Legal Officer. As Legal Officer, you will use the experience you have acquired in the past as well as excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, the ability to prioritise tasks and strong personal character to help meet client requirements. Your team will benefit from your flexible approach, attention to detail and ability to take the lead to work in a fast-paced regulated environment.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adapt and negotiate standard client service agreements under the supervision of Alter Domus’ internal legal department;
  • Prepare documents relevant for onboarding of clients and the life cycle of Irish/Luxembourg client companies and funds;
  • Support operational teams and advise on the legal implications of client documentation and deliverables;
  • Support the client onboarding process from a legal perspective;
  • Advise operational teams and directors on issues of contract law, commercial law and corporate law in relation to client deliverables;
  • Provide support in relation to client services and documentation review;
  • Ensure high level of accuracy, attention to detail and compliance with deadlines;
  • Contribute to updating legal documentation in relation to client services and deliverables;
  • Monitor or advise on legislative and regulatory changes or innovations affecting the Alter Domus’ service offering in multiple jurisdictions;
  • Monitor client transactions and review various documents for client portfolios;
  • Ensure compliance with Alter Domus’ policies and procedures;
  • Assist in developing and maintaining legal client documentation;
  • Participate in mitigating legal risk to which Alter Domus is exposed.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Work experience in international fund administration;
  • University degree in law or comparable education with relevant experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal efficiently with different internal counterparts;
  • People-oriented and keen to collaborate with team members;
  • Knowledge of law and regulations is mandatory;
  • Fluent in English. German, French or any other European language would be considered as an advantage;
  • Experience with fund documents review;
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg/Irish company law, understanding of the European financial services industry;
  • You are a high-energy, results-oriented person exhibiting a natural drive;
  • You are organised, flexible, able to multitask and manage workload efficiently;
  • You possess the highest personal and professional integrity and have an eye for the detail not losing the essential.
