Who we are looking for

  • Master degree in Law, Bar exams preferred, but not a must;
  • At least 5 years of in-house experience in a corporation having its operations in CE territory, preferably with operations of shared service centres;
  • Fluent English verbal and written, including legal English, any other European language is a strong asset;
  • Experience with laws of England an advantage;
  • Strategic thinking and negotiation skills;
  • A great sense of accuracy and being result oriented;
  • Strong communication and team skills, with a willingness to work in an international environment, networking skills;
  • Time and priority management skills;
  • Good computer literacy - MS Office applications.

Your future role

In-house legal support to Deloitte CE central and local entities in CE region, primary focus on delivery centres established in CE region as a standalone position. Direct contact with the leadership of the delivery centres, both CE and other Deloitte member firms.

Key responsibilities:

  • independently manage the legal agenda of delivery centres located in Central Europe in the area of corporate, commercial (contractual), labour, civil law and data privacy (in legislations where not qualified, manage the local in-house/outside counsels to provide relevant legal advice);
  • legal consultancy and support to other back-office departments: Human Resources, Office Management, Financial Department, IT and security etc.;
  • support to the management of delivery centres, working in an international team, coordination of actions to achieve legal compliance and expectations, writing memoranda and legal analysis, attending meetings and workshops;
  • responsibility for implementation of Deloitte internal policies – global and regional, drafting local and delivery centres specific policies and support to their interpretation and application;
  • legal advice to other local entities in CE region for internal purposes, mainly corporate governance, contracts, financing and procurement;
  • regular monitoring of new legislation in force and proposing of necessary changes and their implementation in all related areas;
  • co-operation with other Deloitte member firms and their teams, as well as Deloitte CE legal team and external legal advisors;
  • helping with regional projects and reporting.
