Legal Counsel – Procurement and Corporate Contracts

What you'll do:

  • Support the various corporate teams and business partners in their day-to-day requests
  • Engage, direct and supervise outside counsel, including management of fee structure and internal billing administration
  • Support and partner with the Procurement Team and the Workplace Experience Team to negotiate and conclude all types of agreements such as IT agreements, service agreements, purchase agreements, leases, sub-leases, etc.
  • Support and partner with the Treasury Team to negotiate and conclude various types of finance agreements
  • Create templates of agreement, in coordination with commercial lawyers and business partners, and train internal clients
  • Advise on legal processes and execution of contracts, in coordination with internal partners.
  • Update the Delegation of Authority Policy and insure its proper implementation; draft power-of-attorneys, when relevant
  • Assist the corporate legal team members on various corporate matters, including in providing legal support to manage Criteo group companies and geographic expansion projects

Who you are:

  • Qualified lawyer (or equivalent) with minimum of 4 PQE gained at a combination of top-tier law firm and/or in-house.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial or corporate contracts, as well as advising on guidelines and practice.
  • Experience in corporate law.
  • Desire to understand Criteo’s corporate needs and ability to analyze technical issues.
  • Problem-solver, with a pro-business approach.
  • Ability to engage with business partners of different experience levels; provide reasoned legal advice, empower partners through training initiatives and act as a trusted partner with commercial teams.
  • Ability to accommodate a variety of personalities and cultures.
  • Fluency in French and in English mandatory.
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and work harmoniously with internal stakeholders and other legal team members.
  • Lots of “go go go” and can-do attitude!
